Yesterday I accidentally deleted a file from my android phone which was very important to me and then after sometime when I was looking for the file I realized that the file is deleted and then the hell broke loose. At first, I couldn't think properly and after some time when I decided to think with a cool mind, the first thing I did was called my computer engineer friend and told him the whole story. He was a technology expert and told me that my file could be recovered but he didn't tell me the way as he wasn't very well acquainted with Android phones ecosystem. He just warned me to keep my phone as it was without installing anything or adding any file to it as there was a danger of the space being overwritten and in that case, my file could be lost forever. As he was my very good friend he sent an android expert to my house and then after numerous trails, my file was finally recovered.
Never use your Phone or PC after a file has been deleted accidently. There is possibility that file may get overwritten and permanently lost.
Many people accidentally delete files from their PCs and phones and then suffer the same situation. So I have written a post to all the people like me out there with an in-detail tutorial on how to recover deleted files from PC and Android. Here first part will tell how to recover a file from an Android phone and the second part will tell how to recover deleted files from PC.
How to recover deleted files on Android
Method 1: Use Recovery Disk Android App
First, download and install the Recovery Disk Android app from the play store using this link.
Now Open Recovery Disk, Give storage permission and click on Scan Now.
The app will scan your folder for deleted files and you will get all the deleted files in the scan result.
Now click on the file you want to recovery and Click save. You have successfully recovered the file.
Method 2: Using Dumpster for Android
First, install Dumpster recycle bin for android using this link.
Now open Dumpster and select a basic plan. Give the storage permissions it will ask for.
From navigation drawer, select deep scan recovery.
Now let Dumpster scan all the deleted files. Mark all files you want to recover and then click on Restore.
Method 3: Using the FonePaw Android Data Recovery.
First Download and install Fonepaw on your PC from this link.

Would probably want to use this tool with my old phone cause i have a lot old pics on that i have deleted and want to recover files. By the way how many days or months can this tool recover its history?
ReplyDeleteIt does not depend on months and years. If the space in which the files were stored is overwritten then you lose the phots permanently
